We currently have an Electrician position available with JD Sweid Foods at the Langley BC location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform Preventive Maintenance Routines
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical components; motors and starters
Perform basic electrical maintenance to building services and support equipment
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Perform basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting as required according to ability
Maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas

QUALIFICATIONS:

Red Seal Certification as Journeyman Electrician
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Experience in manufacturing setting
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
4th Class Steam Engineer (willingness to acquire)
Must be flexible with working hours
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skill
Proven ability to work safely in an industrial setting
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (an asset)
A strong team player
